The full refurbishment and extension of a Listed Regency House and Garden in Somerset.

Project Details

The refurbishment of this house and garden in Somerset required a very sensitive approach by both the design team and the building team. Materials needed to be carefully sourced for the house and the garden to ensure that the impact of the new on the old was minimal. 

The works included the installation of a new extension to the garden side of the house, including a new Kitchen, utility room and Art Room. The new build element was designed to blend with the existing and to benefit from under floor heating and modern building standards.

The works also included the renovation of an old garage into a new office, the full refurbishment of a 2 bedroom cottage and the full refurbishment of all rooms in the house. The garden works included extensive new planting, new hard landscaping, a new greenhouse and the installation of multiple water features and statuary.
