Hampstead Passivhaus
The conversion of a semi-detached Victorian House in Hampstead into a Certified Passive House.

Project Details
OLF were retained under our Management Construction contract to turn a Victorian semi-detached house into a full Passive House using eco-positive construction materials and methods.
The rigorous Passive House EnerPHit standard required the assimilation of intricate building processes at all stages of the build. OLF’s experience and attention to detail was vital to ensure that the required standards were met and to ensure the overall success of the project.
The Client and the Design Team pushed the sustainability and eco-standards to be achieved in the house to the highest levels and OLF relished the challenge. OLF kept the use of petrochemical based products to a minimum in the build and prioritised natural products in all instances, including using clay from the garden to mix into hand crafted paints and using old snooker table slates for the kitchen worktop.
